Apple today announced the new 14-inch MacBook Pro, and the company has decided to discontinue the 13-Inch MacBook Pro that comes with a Touch Bar. There are both advantages and disadvantages to this Touch Bar. Many of us like the new way to adjust the volume or brightness using the Touch Bar.
After the launch of the new M3-powered 14-inch MacBook Pro, the 13-inch MacBook Pro will no longer be available for sale on Apple’s website. Apple may have discontinued the M2-powered MacBook Pro because its latest M3 chip is only 20 percent faster than the M2 chip.
This Touch Bar was the unique and last tech feature that will no longer continue with the new MacBook. This means the 13-Inch MacBook Pro is the last model to feature this unique technology.
Last year in June apple introduced The M2-powered MacBook Pro and was available in M2 and M2 Pro variants. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar was priced at $1,299, whereas the pricing on the new M3 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,599. The M2 MacBook Air is the only option for those seeking a more affordable notebook at the moment.
If you love this feature, you can buy a refurbished 13-inch MacBook Pro from the store or from retailers until supplies run out.
